  • Attended committee meeting of Q2 Displan in Bairnsdale. Plans for Y2K; new maps; and better communication with ABC during emergencies.

  • National Pilot of Australian OnLine project launched – Wed. 23rd June. A competition was organised and launched and the GI web page has been posted. The launch was attended by about 60 invited guests and members of the public. ABC Head of Technical Services, Andy Lloyd James officiated and Victorian State Manager Murray Green also addressed the crowd.
  • Compered the morning event, which was broadcast “live” and members of the Australians OnLine project team helped make the event a successful one. Gippsland TAFE Hospitality students catered.
  • Compered Literary Dinner for ABC Centre in Bairnsdale with guest author Yossi Ghinsberg

  • 20 year 11 students from Sale College toured the studio
